Star Wars: Rogue Traders

Prolog: Rogue Traders

I’m on board The Traitor’s Gambit, a customised YT-2400 in Coruscant’s undercity; hired as chief mechanic by a human called Tyr. He may be the Captain but it’s my ship and my job to keep it running. Upon first inspection the craft is severely underpowered and under-gunned. Hmmm…Tyr is also under-gunned with that children’s toy he calls a blaster.

I’ll take quarters in the engine bay and begin my work turning this junk hunk into something less embarrassing.

The next few weeks pass uneventful and my days are spent cleaning filth, recalibrating sensors, shields and tuning the engine thrusters. Despite the Jawa stereotype, I’m fastidiously clean. Tyr spends his time muttering to himself in his cabin and fiddling with the computer. Are all humans this lazy?
